Exclusive video footage of the Metrodome collapse. Watch as the Minnesota Metrodome roof starts to give way and collapse, causing huge damage to the Vikings Stadium.
Firstly the Giants were to play the Vikings at 1pm today, then there was talk of a possible 4pm kick off, after the Giants were delayed, due to Minneapolis airport being closed. Now the game has been postponed until tomorrow evening and the venue has changed.
Due to the Metrodome roof collapsing earlier today, the game is now scheduled for a 7pm kick off at Ford Field in Detroit.
The video footage below will show how the roof started to leak earlier today, eventually giving way and mostly collapsing, to cause extensive damage to the grounds.
The problem started on Saturday morning when Minnesota got hit with a freak blizzard, with snow falling to around 2 feet in depth. Eventually the teflon roof on the Metrodome, just could not stand the weight.
